Zamia furfuracea

With its leathery, tough foliage this guy makes for a hardy indoor plant with beautiful rich colour and texture. Originating in coastal Mexico this plant can span over 2 metres in its natural habitat but is also very slow growing. A very hardy indoor plant that doesn't require much attention.

Will grow well indoors in a very bright position. Ok for some direct morning sun.

Don't let this one dry out too much. Water thoroughly when the top half of the soil becomes dry. Very mature plants become drought tolerant as they store moisture in their underground trunk.
