Boston Fern

Nephrolepis exaltata

The Boston, with its compact and feathery strands, is one of the more common ferns adopted as indoor greenery due to the fact they are a bit easier to care for than other ferns....and they tend to remind us of our Mums!  A popular 70's houseplant.

Light and position

Keep away from heating vents and cold drafts. Will be happiest in bright position but out of direct harsh sunlight in Summer. Will tolerate some direct sun in the colder months.

Water

Keep soil damp at all times, but not dripping wet. Give a light misting once or twice a week to replicate a humid environment.
